When noble thoughts do come
And noble deeds are done,
When creative something stems
From the brilliance of language, then
I cannot but see, in front me
A sceptre of righteousness beheld
This second Buddha's, that divine hand!

നല്ലതു ചിന്തിക്കുബോള്, ചെയ്യുബോള്,

ഭാവാര്ദ്രമാം വല്ലതും ഭാഷാ സായൂജ്യത്തില്

ഉജ്ജ്വലിക്കുബോള്,

എന് കണ്ണിന് മുമ്പില് കാണാരുണ്ടുഞാനീ

ധര്മ്മത്തിന്റെ ചെങ്കോലേന്തിയ

രണ്ടാം സുഗതന്റെയാ തൃക്കൈ!
